I’m Tom, Founder and Skipper of the Odyssey. Sailing classic wooden yachts on the Norfolk broads was a childhood hobby until in 2015, when after a few uninspiring years spent in an office, I quit my job in IT to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a professional skipper. It was the best decision I ever made. In 2016 I gained my Yachtmaster sail certification at UKSA and have been working all over the Mediterranean as a charter skipper ever since.

Along the way, I have experienced some of the best the Mediterranean has to offer. The Odyssey is the culmination of everything I have learnt and is a love letter to my favourite places on earth.

I spend my off season scouting exciting locations to share with new and returning guests, helping out with my family marquee hire business and ski instructing in Canada. I hope you’ll join me and become part of the Odyssey story.
