Monohull yachts are faster, and better to sail for a variety of reasons. However they do sacrifice space below and above deck to achieve this. We would recommend Monohulls to anyone serious about learning how to sail.

Although they do also possess the to ability sail, Catamarans are significantly more spacious above and below, at the cost of some speed and grace. They also have a  dining area towards the stern and a large open space on the bow, this makes them the more popular choice for luxury charters.
